This handmade cut coin pendant was made from a Canadian quarter. The Canadian
quarter has been minted with the caribou on the reverse side since 1937. Until 1967
they were made of a silver alloy. From 1968 until 1999 they were made from 99.9%
nickel, a metal found in great abundance in Canada. This cut coin was made from
one of these nickel coins. It is the same size as a US quarter.
