The Alaska quarter was minted in 2008. The reverse side of the coin shows a grizzly bear
with a freshly caught salmon in its jaws. Over 98% of the grizzly bears in the United
States reside in Alaska, so this image is meant to symbolize the natural beauty and wildlife
are abundant in Alaska. This coin like all state quarters is a clad coin with a core of copper
sandwiched between two layers of nickel-copper alloy.
As with all my cut coins, my seven-day no-questions-asked money-back guarantee
applies to the Alaska Quarter cut coin. See seven-day guarantee for full details.
