This handmade cut coin pendant was made from a Canadian dime. These coins have
been minted since the mid-1800’s. From 1968 until 1999 they were made of a 99.9%
nickel. The coin is the same size as an American dime. The reverse side shows the
Bluenose fishing schooner that was a racing success in the 1930’s.
