This handmade cut coin pendant was made from an Israeli 25 agorot piece. These
coins were issued in 1960 and ceased to be legal tender in 1980. They were made of
an alloy of 92% copper, 6% aluminum, and 2% nickel. The coin is about midway in
size between an American quarter and an American half dollar. The obverse side
shows the lyre and the lettering says Israel in both Hebrew and Arabic.
After I completed cutting the coin I had it electroplated with 14kt gold by a
professional jewelry plater. The Israeli Lyre cut coin, like all my cut coins, is covered
by my no-questions-asked seven-day money-back guarantee. See seven-day-guarantee
for full details.
