The US Kennedy half dollar was first minted in 1964 in honor of the slain President. That first
year they were made of 90% silver and 10% copper. From 1965 through 1970 the silver content
was reduced to 40%. Since 1971 the Kennedy halves have been clad coins with a core of copper
sandwiched between two layers of copper nickel alloy.
As with all my other cut coins, my seven-day no-questions-asked money-back guarantee
applies to the Kennedy Half cut coin. See seven-day guarantee for full details.
