This handmade cut coin pendant was made from a US Mercury dime. Mercury
dimes were minted from 1916 until 1945 and consist of 90% silver and 10% copper.
Even though it is commonly called a Mercury dime the figure on the coin is actually
a depiction of the goddess Liberty.
