The Missouri state quarter was minted in 2003. The image on the reverse side depicts
Lewis and Clark returning down the Missouri River to St. Louis after their expedition
to the Pacific Ocean. Anachronistically in the background is what is formally known as the |
Jefferson National Expansion Memorial. One can easily imagine Tom saying “Show me
why this thing should not be called the Gateway Arch!”, and indeed that is what
it is usually called. As with all US quarters since 1965, this is a clad coin with a core
of copper sandwiched between two layers of nickel-copper alloy.
As with all my cut coins, my seven-day no-questions-asked money-back guarantee
applies to the Missouri Quarter cut coin. See seven-day guarantee for full details.
