This handmade cut coin pendant was made from a New Zealand 2 cent piece. These were
copper coins slightly smaller than a US quarter. The coins were minted from 1967 to 1990.
The flowers on the reverse are kowhai flowers, the yellow flowers of the kowhai tree found
in New Zealand. After completing the coin I had it electroplated with 14kt gold by a
professional jewelry plater.
